Legit ONLINE LVN Program

North Central Texas College is trying a new ONLINE LVN program! Its crazy, you take your classes online and then do your clinicals at a local hospital on the weekends! I heard about this through the grapevine and thought that I would share it with the forum. It is located in Gainesville, but if you live close enough to go and do your clinicals there every weekend then it would be worth it. I just moved from Southeastern Oklahoma to OKC (because I got a full ride nursing scholarship:yeah:) or else I was going to look into it. Anyways here is the address for the website

THANK YOU for that information. I have been busting my fingers on this computer trying to find an online program with NO luck! :uhoh3: I just went to NCTC's website and missed their registration deadline by ONE week!!! :mad: No worries though... I have time to gather my application information for the next round...in January of 2011. I've been a Paralegal for over 20 years and am ready to move forward to a new career.

If anyone out there has any information about any evening/weekend LVN programs... please share!

I was advised to begin with LVN.... then get a job as an LVN ....and continue to the RN program from there.

I can't afford to be out of full-time pay for too long! Gulp! Any advice out there?

:stdnrsrck: The only night and weekend are Concorde and Dallas Nursing Institute. Im signed for Concorde for days starting in Sept but like u just missed NCTC deadline. Prob with the vocational courses is its expensive....the day course is 25k and I dont think the evening was much cheaper. Good luck to u perhaps we will be classmates.
