Legit ONLINE LVN Program

North Central Texas College is trying a new ONLINE LVN program! Its crazy, you take your classes online and then do your clinicals at a local hospital on the weekends! I heard about this through the grapevine and thought that I would share it with the forum. It is located in Gainesville, but if you live close enough to go and do your clinicals there every weekend then it would be worth it. I just moved from Southeastern Oklahoma to OKC (because I got a full ride nursing scholarship:yeah:) or else I was going to look into it. Anyways here is the address for the website

I hope this helps someone achieve their dream of becoming a nurse!:nurse:

It is interesting. They are only accepting 12 people for the first class in Jan.

Sounds marvelous!

I agree, it does.

I would love it if they were offering the RN program online.

Sandy, Texas is Excelsior College-friendly, and they do an online LPN - RN.

Look in the Distance Learning Forum. I just graduated. Taking the boards soon.

:)

I'm glad you posted this Sue because although I live in NY, I plan to move to TX. My fear is that TX will make a drastic decision like CA did and not grant graduates RN licenses.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that. I hadn't even thought about taking that

route.

Good luck on your boards.

That's one of the good things about this site. What one doesn't know another does.
