How is the job market in South Texas for new Grads

    I would be graduating from the nursing school hopefully in three years if i get accepted. I was just wondering how the job market is now, and how it would probably be by then.

    Overall, Texas is in 'growth mode' and this will undoubtedly continue for some years. There is an increasing preference for BSN grads in major metro areas, so that should be taken into account.

    Thanks for the reply. Reading posts from other nurses having trouble getting hired has really stressed me out lately. I currently live in Laredo, and i would like to start here in the city as a nurse, and then maybe move to either Austin, or Houston.
