Can anybody recommend a Micro class or online? Can't take this anymore!!!

Okay, my fellow Texans,

I told you guys about my micro teacher from hell yesterday, who's been out d/t 'personal stuff' and we are so far

behind because of this.

She started/completed chp 5 yesterday, and today she puts up the exam materials for chps 6, 7, and 8 to go with

chp 5, to test us over on Tuesday!:crying2: I'm still trying to digest the flashcards for Chp5 and trying to learn all of my

flashcards for APII!!

In addition, she gives us our choices for the report and for the Team presentation!!!

I realize that it's kind of far into the semester but, before I end up with a less-than desirable grade on my transcript,

I believe that withdrawing is my only choice right now. What do you guys think? I'm taking 11 hours and this is

class is taking up the majority of my time and my husband is concerned that it will show up in my grades for my

APII and English classes.

I can't understand why she feels it's necessary to rush all this new material, read from the power points that are

identical to the book and then tell us, "YOu will have to know this for the test!"

I think I'm in total shut down mode right now; hope you guys have some suggestions. I would drop this miserable

class in a second if I could find another one but unfortunately she is the only person teaching this class.

thanks so much,

desperate to make the right choice.:crying2:

Is she the only one that teaches the class in any given semester? Or next semester could you choose a different professor? My suggestion would be this: find out what day is the last day to drop a class in order to receive a W on your transcript and not a failing grade; give it a good, hard, honest effort until that point in time. If your grades are suffering because of her lack of being in class/teaching the material, then drop the class. I am facing a very similar situation in my A&P I class right now. Sometimes it is better just to take a step back in order to keep your peace of mind. I hope this helps ease your worries.

I agree with the previous poster. If this person is not the only teacher, then go with another one when you sign up again. Or take the course at another school and then transfer the course to your parent school.
