anyone know about dallas nursng institute

Hello, new to this site as well as Dallas. I have been in a previous school that had a bridge program and finding things a little different here. I have just heard about the program at Dallas Nursing Institute and wondered if anyone has any advice on this or other programs. I have not been in a nursing school before just done pre-reqs. for my previous one. Any help appreciated.

I didn't find much searching for the school other than it's private and is vocational only (LVN).

I went to DNI AND HAD A GREAT LEARNING experience. Some who did not e are the ones who did not make it. The instructors were RN, some with masters and a Dr. iF YOU ARE WILLING TO GIVE YOUR ALL go for it if not dont. I went all day everyday it was tough! In the end I ended up with 5 job prospects in two days. I took the one 3 blocks from my home stating at 20.00 plus shift diff. Not bad, i can walk on nice cool days. Every school has their issues. They have really worked on those. I can say 99.9% of the time it was a ****** off student . Now I am doing classes for RN but starting as an LVN is agreat way to start you learn skills. I had over 1200 hrs of skills I know RNs do not get near that. These private schools do teach things you will use. DNI was good for me.

Dni will kick you out in a blink of eye. They are regulated by the state. They dont mess around with students who fail or do not abide y the rules

well to each his own, i guess. we all have our own opinions. this school is not very good. I have taught myself for half the program. I have the highest grades in the class, but I have worked for them. too much drama and politics for me,

I do agree with the politics and DRAMA, oh the drama was well, pretty funny. I just sat back and minded my business. I guess I just have to say one thing I am an employed LVN, I do not care were I got it. Actually everything I did learn I use daily. I was scared at first but then I fell into a routine and work with other nurses who are very helpful. Best to you. In the end it is the state boards that tell all.:D
