Alvin Community College ADN Fall 2012.....anyone??

I agree with jehowell.... I had Bs in both A&Ps but As in everything else . & i didn,t take dosage calculations either.... but your grades sound better than mine. they do only accept 30 in the spring, but not as many apply! i applied last spring, but was missing a lot of pre reqs. there were like 90 qualified applicants! Hope that helps!

@ Agiusti: yes it really helped, thank you so much. You guys are wonderful, i'v been posting on this site for so long but people were not that responding. With the information i got from you guys, i am very encouraged because i was thinking of waiting till nxt fall before applying, but i will try this nxt spring first. I have just completed my hepatitis B shots yesterday.I still need to take the bacteria meningitis, that is because i'm transfering from another school (wcjc). I dont live in Alvin tax district and I haven't taken any class at Alvin, i had withdrawn from a class before, that was Engl 1301. I just hope all these won't stand against me because i read that they give additional consideration to those that have these qualities.

I wouldnt worry about that stuff! I did not take any pre reqs at alvin, i live out of district, & i also had withdrawn from a class. it doesnt hurt to try the worst is you dont get in & still end up trying for fall.

I dont know about anyone else, but i am super excited about orientation tuesday!!! i cant wait to meet everyone!

I'm very excited about orientation! One more day then hopefully we get to know our schedules for the semester, I hate not know plus I need to figure out where I'm living too haha

Hey! It was so nice learning our schedules today, I am in the blue group! Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions about moving out closer to the school, I live in Katy right now and hope to move down there in the next month but have no idea where to start. Plus if any girls need a roommate That'd be awesome.

Hey guys, how are y'all preparing for your program? I just want to let you know that I have completed my Eng and micro now with A's in both, my overall GPA now is 3.86, my science is 4.0. My only concern now is the transportation issue, I stay in Houston, from my house to Alvin is around 55mins. If you know anyone that we can share ride together and pay the expense together. Hey all, I will be starting ACC's ADN program in Jan... Quick question: do they restrict the color of your stethoscope? Also, do they require a certain nursing show we must buy?
