UTHSC-Memphis BSN

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

University of Tennessee Health Science Center - MEMPHIS (not the UTHSC in Texas) is re-opening up their accelerated BSN program for the upcoming class to enter in the Fall of 2013. Has anyone applied? If so, have you heard anything? I've been accepted into UofM's traditional BSN and I was debating between the two.

@ SherylLT I hope you get accepted to either program. I'm scheduled to start AT LSON in January, but I'm still curious about UT. Please share your progress!!! And Happy New Year : )

@ Kywoodrd

Thanks so much! Got my fingers crossed. Congrats for getting accepted into LSON and Happy New Year to you as well. :)

The deadline to apply for UTSHC BSN is tomorrow. Good luck to all applicants. :-)

Has anyone else received acceptance letter for UTHSC BSN 2014 Program?

I have not heard anything yet. When did you receive yours and was it via email or postal mail?

I have not heard anything from UTHSC either...when did you receive your acceptance? @katherine90

I received an acceptance via e-mail on Feb. 7th.

Congratulations! Are you in the RN to BSN or accelerated track?

Received an email on Feb 7!

Congrats. I graduated from the UofM with a BS degree. I am positive that I'm going to get accepted into the nursing program. I can't wait to attend. The UofM has a 98% NCLEX rate. They also had their nursing program longer than UT. They help students achieve success in class as well as outside the class. Hopefully I will see you all there. I love UofM! The UofM program is shorter as well.

Will you be in the accelerated program, RN-BSN or traditional program at UT? @lmp145

I hope to hear from U of M before making any decisions. However, I think UT only has an accelerated program if you are looking to get just the BSN. That's what I got from the email anyway.

I am doing accelerated BSN. After seeing the new simulation labs on campus, talking to a few past students, and meeting some teachers I decided to go to UT over Memphis. I just like the smaller class sizes and new equipment on campus.
