For those of you who live in or near Germantown, are there any affordable apartments within walking distance? I won't have money for a car.

@georgiapeachgal, i live literally 5 mins away from campus. There are apts off of hacks cross. Fieldstone apts-the name. They look decent and that area def. isnt really crime-ridden. There are also the lincoln on the greens, southwind apts, etc.

I just read that u said walking distance. Fieldstone apts is the closest but its still a good walk from campus i believe.

    Yikes! They're expensive too.

Hey girl! More than likely any apartments in Germantown will be expensive! Your best option is probably to find a roommate in the program and carpool with them! I know God has a plan for all of us and he could have brought all of us to this forum for a reason! I do agree with that

I will probably have to do just that. It's a shame that I can't put my cats to work to pay the rent. Has anyone received an email from admissions yet?

Ladies I was in the same position this time last year. I've been messaging soontobenurse and I say to you all be patient and know that everything works according to God's plan. I had to take the TEAS but it did not count towards admission, but I hear it is no longer required. This semester is about over and Lord it wasn't a.walk in the park but it wasn't hard. Just information overload. Before taking micro be sure to ask Wendy how many hours Union will take from outside schools. Ms. Wendy is your best friend!!! Please feel free to message me anything. This site was very informative for me before being accepeted and I feel I should help the next person.

Hello beautiful!! Thank u for the nice insight!! How many sessions have u completed thus far? Is Micro hard in terms of not being able to grasp the material in short time? I have to take that during the actual session. I have had 6 hours (stats and developmental psych) transfer so i dont have to take those the first session. I would love to take Micro before entering bc ive heard horror stories abt it at my current university ( U of M)

I had to take micro and stats for the first session as pre reqs. along with the required nursing classes but everyone has to take Patho and dimensional analysis the second session. Micro was easier than Patho although it's the same teacher is more info in less time. Micro was twice a week, but patho is one night. I made an A in that class with no problem. I also stopped working in September but if you can work til December I say go for it. My job didn't allow me to study...I was in management so I had no downtime, but still managed to get A's on exams. Good u don't have to take stats! I absolutely despise that class! Its one of those why am I taking this type classe. I have all A's in the classes from first session as well as this session. We are taking finals next week and next semester class from 8am-5pm. Keep in mind union will only except a certain number of hours and even if u take micro they may not accept it and u have to retake it. Since that's the class they say they choose for ppl to retake.
