TTC Nashville LPN September Class

I got my letter! I'm hoping for financial aid, every time I call they ignore my messages. Have you got anything for financial aid yet, or are you waiting to talk about it on July 30th? I'm also very excited! =)

Financial Aid Sucks!! I am in the May 2010 class and I didn't find out for sure if I would get financial aid until the first day of class, and now everyone is getting the run around about when checks will be ready 3 months after we started class!! The disbursement date on our papers say June 28 and July 2... Are yall having the get the blue and khaki? I really wish they would change it back to green!!

That makes me nervous about the financial aid stuff, but it seems like every school the financial aid department is one of the most frustrating things to deal with. I hope to get everything figured out soon enough, and yes we have to get the blue polo shirt and khakis.

So.....I read that we have to pay for our books and fees at registration. How are we supposed to do that if we have to wait for Financial Aid? There would be no way I could go to school if I had to do that because I have a 6 month old and have to pay for daycare also. I hope I get enough financial aid. I don't mind having to wear Khakis and Polos as long as I get to go. Times are tough and if you don't have a solid career you basically have to live paycheck to paycheck. Definitely nervous about it now!

I wouldn't let it scare you too much yet. I was supposed to start in Sept. and they called and asked me to start in May, 2 weeks before classes start. We had a makeshift orientation and didn't register until the first day of school. They told me if my financial aid hadn't gone through I would have to pay the tuiton and wait to be paid back. If financial aid hadn't come through, I wouldn't have been able to start. So thankfully, it did come through to pay for tuition and books, but 3 months later I still don't have a refund check for the amount of my financial aid over tuiton and fees. Also, if there is any way you can order the books online, it will save you a TON of money. I wish I did that too now...

Bottom line is what's supposed to happen will fall into place, and there will be PLENTY more to stress over for the next year, so I wouldn't get too upset about it. :redbeathe

Just got my letter telling me about registration next Friday(July 30) @ 8:30am. Anyone else get it? Are you excited? Anyone getting financial aid?

Hey! I want to apply to TTC Nashville....do they have a September class or is it only in may now? Their website is only stating May 2014 at this moment, wasn't sure if there were two sets of classes, one in may and one in September. Can't get anyone on the phone out there! Also, can you apply for a federal loan if you don't get grant money to help pay for it? Just curious how all that works. Thanks!
