Let's start a new thread for the spring 2015 hopefuls ! Let's share our journey

@alexisw04 mines a 58 everybody with 60 & up I think are in 4sure

I hope so and that's good. I've heard people who were in the mid 50s still got in. I wonder if they'll be accepting more than 60 students for the spring. Does anyone know if the new nursing building is done?

@alexisw04 it will be but don't know if they will accept more than 60 I'm hoping they do & I heard people get in with like 53 so I'm hopeful

Does anyone know if they accept pregnant students?

No discrimination I would say to that but I would call & just ask @alexisw04

Ok I'll call and find out. I hope I can still go. I don't want to wait anymore. :-(

@alexisw04 how far along are you

I just took a home pregnancy test yesterday. I'll find out when I go to the doctor Thursday.

I would apply somewhere else so I could have another option but need nights/weekend. I checked with UT health science but their program is daytime only. do you know if University of Memphis has nights for nursing?

@hankia1 no I checked them all I want more opinions also

Hey guys!! Good luck to all of you hoping to start nursing school!! I wanted you all to be aware that as of Jan 2017 Methodist will no longer hire ADN nurses (clearly stated on their website). St Francis also does not hire new ADNs (clearly stated as well). Baptist takes their own graduates first, then BSNs, then others. I am not arguing who is better and am an alum of SWCC School of Nursing. I just want you all to be 100% informed and hope that you make getting your BSN part of your future plans!!
