Southwest community college spring 2015 hopefuls!

Published

Let's start a new thread for the spring 2015 hopefuls ! Let's share our journey

I plan on getting my bsn/msn @louerrn thanks! When did you graduate?

thanks. I am planning on getting my RN-BSN at Union.

I read Methodist Lebhoneur will only hire BSN nurses in January 2017. The other locations will hire them but give preference to BSN first and you must obtain BSN within 3 years.

wow. that would hurt LPNs going back to get BSN now if they had been LPNs for several years already, like my mom.

Alexisw04, did you go to dr? how far are you? Did you call the school? I agree that they could not discriminate because of pregnancy.

October 1st tomorrow deadline to apply is 2weeks away we will be finding out sooner than we think! ??

The BSN requirement does start in 2017 but if you start nursing school in 2015 that means you!!! If you read the criteria, it says Methodist Lebonheur Healthcare (MLH). That is the name of the entire Methodist system not just Lebonheur Children's Hospital.

i graduated in 2009!! Seems like a lifetime ago!

Mrs.Weaver in admissions says for everyone to be patient all applications are being processed& the committee will meet in November ! Do not call @ this time

Yep! Ready to get this show on the road!

I'm six weeks along and my due date it not during the semester. I have not contacted the school yet. I'll call on Monday . I hope i can still go if I'm accepted :(

Hi just want to know if the overall score the same as composite score on the NLN exam. Because my overall score was 129.

The link below is a great video that is all about the new Nursing and Natural Sciences building at Southwest! It talks a lot about the nursing program and all the new technology that will be offered. Unfortunately, they do not mention exactly when it will be opening but they will be expanding the program to 300 students over the next few years.
