Excelsior RN accepted in Tennessee?

U.S.A. Tennessee

Can someone please help? (In more ways than one!haha) First off, I don't know how to use this website...so I am sorry for posting this question here. Secondly, I live in Florida and am a LPN. I would like to go back to school to get my RN but my son, who is 3, needs me to be home when I'm not at work. I am hoping to move to Tennessee in 1 year. Does anyone know if Tennessee excepts an RN from Excelsior. Or does anyone have any complaints or comments about Excelsior in general? Any information given is information appreciated. I have done an extensive web search and can't find anything relevant. I even went to Tennessee's websites and there is nothing pertaining to Excelsior. I am just not sure if this is the way to go and I am hoping someone has an answer for me. Help Me!!! Again, I am sorry for posting this here, but I can't figure out how to start a new thread (I just registered 5 minutes ago)!!!!

I've moved this post to its own new thread so it does't get lost in the unrelated thread. The SBON of Tennessee should specify exactly what type of education is required to meet their standards for issuing an RN license.

Here's a link - you may just want to to call them :). I'm certain that this is a common question for that office, and they can also fill you in on any potential bills in the works r/t distance learning requirements that may impact your plans.

Thank You Very Much. I Really Appreciate It!
