Science/Math Section

Nursing Students TEAS

So I haven't taken Chem/Calc/Algebra/Bio since freshman year of college (4 years ago) and junior year of high school... What would be the best way to go back and refresh all of what I learned for the TEAs? I'm buying the ATI package and practice tests but would it also be a good idea to study AP Chem and Bio test books as well or is that overkill? I'm just looking for the best way to review Chem and Algebra material without having to go back and take a refresher CC class... I already have the credits, don't really want to suffer through the hell of 6 months of classes.

How are all of you who took prereqs years ago preparing for these sections?

Thanks!

For the TEAS test, I studied one book and did fine. I also hadn't taken those classes in a while. I think the study materials you have will be good. There was earth science and some grammar/English stuff I should've studied more but overall I don't think you need to take 6 months of classes for it.

The math is super, super, super basic. I was terrible at math my whole life and received a 90% on the section.

The science is definitely the hardest, but as long as you study the ATI book, you will be fine. No need to go through the Bio and Chem stuff because it'll be overkill and overloading yourself.

Everything on the test is in the ATI book but some of the explanations aren't the greatest so you may want to do some online searching for a few things (if you don't understand how the book explains it).
