Hello, my first attempt: Overall- 89 Reading- 91.5 Math- 93.8 Science- 87.2 and English- 79.2 ..:grumpy:

I literally only used the study manual provided by the ATI website. I read that thing from cover to cover and completed all the little tests and quizzes inside of it. Just make sure you dedicate a good amount of time to each individual section, but with the main focus being on A&P (the great majority of the test will be A&P, I barely got any other sort of science question- maybe some chemistry). I studied too hard for the other sections and ended up falling short on the last section, English and Language with a 79%, because I literally just glanced at it the night before. So try to distribute your time. Also, the manual does not cover everything you will see on the test for A&P, there were some questions that I was thankful I had at least taken the A&P 1 course so I could answer them. So, you may want to look into studying a little more thoroughly that section with maybe some of your textbooks to refresh your memory. I'd suggest studying about three weeks before the test so you have time to go over all the sections w/o over studying and make sure you study the most the last week so the info is fresh. Then take the first practice test, review what you are weak on from the results, focus on your weaknesses, take the second practice test a few days before the actual test, and review over the sections some more. Don't freak out if you don't like the scores you get on the practice tests, I think they make the practice tests harder than the actual exam. I got an 80% on my practice. This was my initial study plan too, but I ended up procrastinating and only studying for a week and a half, something I deeply regret because I could have done better had I followed through. I hope this helped!

Good luck!

Hello-one attempt. 92 overall score. 100 math, 83 science, 87.5 English, 93.6 reading. I met with English and chemistry tutors at my college. The English tutor was great at explaining some of the more arcane rules of language. I used the Mometrex and Mc Graw Hill books primarily-the ATI book not as much. Also found some SAT and ACT review books figuring that they were harder than TEAS. For anatomy/science I had A&P one just about finished around the time of the test so that was still fresh in my mind. I watched you tube videos for some of the topics I was weak on. It was about three weeks of hard core studying from start to finish. Not sure where you are in your studies but I tell people don't even think about taking this test unless you took A&P one and did fairly well. Good luck!

thank you so much for your great and detail response. I will definitely follow your advice. congrats on your great score!

Thank you for your response and your advice. Congrats on your score. I will definitely take all suggestions and advice I get from everyone who have successfully passed the exam and study the book and use other resources as much as possible for my weak areas. Thanks again!

Have you taken you test yet Ocean?
