Non BSN GPA 2.6, ABSN GPA 4.0

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but should I be worried about applying to CRNA because of my GPA from my first degree (finance) which was a ~2.6? I finished that degree in 2007 and started working towards my BSN in 2014. I have a 4.0 in all my hard science and BSN coursework, and I am working in a busy CVICU at a Lvl. 1 trauma/teaching hospital in a major city. I'm just psyching myself out, right?

From what I have read, most only care about your last 90 credits. Check your desired schools and see their criteria, most list it somewhere...

Bachelors in Political Science in 2004, I graduated with a 2.4. Stellar right? I was a premed student starting in 2006. Excelled in my upper level science classes, 3.5 Nursing gpa. Got accepted to a program starting 2018. Don't psych yourself out. I did for no reason. I'm a firm believer that the right program will accept you. Good luck.

The way your grades recovered while working on your BSN speaks more for your ability than the grades for your first degree. Be prepared to answer questions about those grades but do not let them hold you back.

Applied and was accepted to my #1 school. Only applied to that school. Crazy lucky and couldnt be happier!
