Does anybody know why there are no schools in San Antonio Texas and does anybody know how you get a school in the works or show a need for a CRNA program, where or who would be a starting point??? Thanks for your time.

The US Army Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia is in San Antonio. They'd be glad to talk to you about entrance requirements.

Specializes in CRNA.

The main challenges are:

1. find a graduate college willing to sponsor an expensive program that may not ever pay for itself, must be able to offer graduate level A&P, pharmacology etc

2. find a qualified program administrator and assistant program administrator, CRNAs with a doctoral degree, or willing to pursue a doctoral degree-a research degree perferred

3. find clinical sites willing to take on the responsibility of SRNAs, must have sites with opportunities in everything from CV to pediatrics

after that the rest is easy

Have you looked into Texas Wesylan, or TCU? They both have clinical sites at distant locations and may have sites in San Antonio
