Excela Health Interview

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hi everyone,

So...after years of preparation, I got an interview at Excela Health. I am muy excited for this interview. Anyone have words of wisdom and how to prepare for the interview.

Do they ask personal or clinical questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Big thanks. :D

I doubt they have told anyone of their decision yet. Schools always wait until everyone has interviewed. I just turned my application in yesterday and they called me this morning for an interview in late January. I imagine we will find out in early February. Sorry dudes!

Actually, your information isn't correct. I interviewed in October and they told me in the interview they will send you a letter in 2-3 weeks whether you've been accepted, denied, or on the waitlist. Other people who I know received the school's decision in 2-3 weeks like they said. However, when I interviewed they called me the next morning to offer me a spot in the program. Since you're interviewing later it might be different for you.

I was put on the waitlist.

Well, if they've already accepted everyone then I don't see much point spending $600 to go out there for an interview that will mean nothing...thanks for the info! I'll call then ASAP.

Hi rocketman,

if I were you, I would still go for the interview

unless you already have a school and you

don't want to go to excela. You have an

interview because they have not filled their

seats. Some were put in the waitlist, others

accepted, but before they offer someone

on the waitlist a spot, they want to have

interviewed all possible candidates. You may

get in!!!

I also found out I wasn't accepted by letter in 2 weeks. I'm happy I've recently been accepted to two programs though!

Rocketman,

I think you should go for the interview unless you already have been accepted to another school. They do the initial interviews, from there accept, decline and waitlist people (2 weeks after interview). Before they give the waitlist people a spot, they interview other potential candidates to see if they can fill the class.
