CRNA program for <3.0 BSN GPA???

I had a 4.0 when I transferred into my BSN program. Then I started slacking. I think my "nursing" GPA is somewhere between 2.5 & 3.0 and in the mid 3's when "combined" with my transfer courses. I have roughly 15 graduate credits in my MSN program and have a 4.0 GPA again. I want to start applying to CRNA programs but I'm unsure which program I will have the most success in? Advice? I can't "do over" my BSN program...

If your overall GPA is greater than a 3.0, you should be fine as long as your sciences are good. If you have C's in any of those, then it will help to do those over. You also need to have good critical care experience and do everything you can to demonstrate comittment. Be prepared to explain why your GPA dropped during your BSN.

Most of the programs I've looked at require overall GPA of at least 3.0.....Some of the programs look very heavily at your science GPA. Looks like you will be fine! I know people who have been accepted with low 3's.

The main thing is a combination of GPA, GRE, work expeirience, interview and if you have CCRN.

So u are in school for MSN now??

Memorial Hospital in Rhode Island (2.75), New Britain (2.7) and St Raphael all allow for less than 3.0 GPAs at least per their web sites. I don't know what their actual acceptance levels are.
