Hello!

I applied to the adult gero primary care nurse practitioner program at UM for spring 2016, part time so I can still work full time. Just want to know if anyone has had any interviews yet, accepted? Also if anyone who attends now or in the past has any feedback of the program etc :)

Hi! I applied for the adult NP program around July 27th. NursingCas did not complete my application until around 3rd week of August and they contacted me last week via email for an interview which I went to on Sept 8th. They say it can take 4 weeks from interview date for decisions to be made and you will receive a letter. So I am hoping that I get accepted. I believe they do a few rounds of interviews. I suggest you guys check your junk email just in case!! Because my email was in junk. Good luck!

Yeah I applied earlier in summer an nursing CAS took forever to verify my transcripts etc. I also had my interview 9/8 I think it went well, hopefully lol. But I was told they will meet with a committee next week an we should hear back a couple weeks after that. Good luck to you as well!

Waiting for a response as well! Does anyone has access to the NUR 601 or NUR 612 syllabus? Have this months off and would like to review them. Keep in touch!

Congrats to all who accepted!!! I think Ive seen a few of these names on the UM FNP 2016 board... But just wanted to say hi and open up the communication to those who arent on that page :yeah:

Im in the process of my background check etc (in state) and am looking for places to live in near campus. Also, will be looking to work part time in an ER while in the program.

Anyone have any neighborhoods they suggest for living down there?

Cant wait to meet you all!

I got accepted to the AGANP program PT and I was wondering what your class schedule was like the first semester? just trying to feel it out.. to see if it is doable..

classes were in the afternoon? could you guide me? Paint the picture.. may even the2 nd semester too
