Taking FNP Boards...any advice?

I've done the FitzGerald live review, listened to the tapes, and read the Leik book. Any advice? I am taking the boards next month! Paid 99.00 to take 2 ANCC preview exams and got 3 wrong out of 200 questions. But, they seemed way too easy. I am sure they are NOTHING like the boards. Thanks for any advice!

I think you'll be just fine. I found the ANCC boards to be much easier than NCLEX. There's no "pick all that apply" type questions. Relax, don't stress out-you've done all you can to prepare. Do a little review every day. I'd be willing to bet money you pass with flying colors. Make sure you let us know how it went.

I agree with BCgradnurse; the ANCC exam did not seem as "tricky" to me as NCLEX. If you've done well with Fitzgerald and her review questions, reviewed theory/research, and the scope of practice for NPs, you should be absolutely fine.

Dress comfortably, take time to adjust your chair and monitor when you get to the testing site, relax and just do your thing.

Thanks, girls! I am so nervous! Just read threads about folks who failed! Ugh!

Dear Berkshire1995,

I hope you had good luck! What test questions did you study from? I need to sit for my boards too.
