RN with BA to MSN NP Programs???

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone is in the same boat or has some direction they can give me.

I have a BA in Biology and a ADN RN. I'm looking for programs that can bridge that gap to a MSN NP degree.

More specifically... My BA has a GPA under 3.0 but my ADN is above 3.5. Online would be preferred.

Any ideas? Direction?

BA is not a substitute for a BSN- even if you are an RN. I think earning a BSN is your first step. is completely online, affordable ,accredited AND if you are bringing in another degree (I also had a BA) you could be done in 6-9 months.

Many, many WGU grads have gone on to NP school

There are a few programs that will consider your BA/BS degree, typically they will expect you to make up the difference, specific courses in addition to the other BSN-MSN courses. At least there were several years ago when I was researching the best path for me.

WGU is another option as was mentioned above, or any RN-BSN program, again depending on what credits they will take from your previous degrees. You might also reach out to programs that have RN-MSN to see if they would give you credit for courses you have already completed in your BA degree.
