I sent my app in this week. Anybody else? Anybody else as incredibly nervous (and now some what doubting myself) as I am? I would love to be able to chat with some other peeps about the wait. Also, quick question... On my app I put full time but I work full time (and will have to the first year or so that I am in school), am marrierd and have three boys. Am I crazy? Or is this "normal" nerves I am having? Thanks everybody!!!

I applied for class 113 FNP. I am very patiently waiting for a reply. They just closed the admissions for class 113. I cannot wait to get a reply. I just wish it was sooner rather than later. I will be doing it part-time. I have 2 children under 6 and work. I do not feel that I will be able to give enough attention and get good grades if I go in full-time.

I am almost done with the cnep program. I have four boys (15, 13, 6, 4) and have worked pretty much full-time since I started the program 2 yrs ago. I did go PRN at work, but work full-time hours. Basically I need the $$, but I like the flexibility to turn down hours if school is getting too crazy! I am going full-time at Frontier and when I first started my husband was deployed. I work dayshift and nightshift, whatever shifts I can pick up at work. The program is not easy by any means, but it is doable. You will have to give up things, learn to say no to people. I no longer volunteer in kids church, my house isn't always clean, my kids have learned to eat pb&J and ramen noodles. I have a very supportive husband who is not afraid of rolling up his sleeves and doing dishes, laundry, scrubbing toliets....whatever needs to be done. And thankfully my kids make good grades without needing me to hover and check their homework. Basically, I'm just trying to say that it is a tough program, but it is doable. I don't consider myself a genius, I just study hard and keep on going no matter how bad it gets. I have one term left, and I will say it has went by fast! Good luck to you!
