Hi, I'm relatively new to this site. I just started my MSN with a concentration in adult/gero acute care. I won't start clinicals until next fall but will be taking physiology this fall and then advanced patho and pharm in the spring. I'm finally joining the 21st century and getting a smart phone. Anyone have good ideas for go to apps especially concerning drugs and labs? My training will mainly be critical care oriented.

While we are at it, I'd like to upgrade my stethoscope prior to my health assessment class next summer. I was thinking littman cardiology but if anyone has thoughts let me know. Thanks :)

Cardio III is a great scope.

As far as apps, before you buy too much wait and see what you can get free either through school or your hospital where you are doing rotations. Micromedix has a pretty decent free drug app and LexiComp is a great paid drug app. Medscape is great for keeping current. The student rate for UpToDate is well worth it if you can't get it through school or your facility, the bonus of a personal subscription is you can use it on your mobile device for the calculators and LexiComp included.
