Aiken Tech ADN admissions question

I have one more prereq (A&P) before I can apply to the ADN program at Aiken Tech. But I was looking at the point system they use for admissions and I'm afraid I won't have enough. There are 30 possible points (some I can't possibly get points for such as aiken county resident, lpn, ba or masters, 12 semesters of credit at Aiken Tech). I was wondering if anyone who has applied (who got in or didn't) could tell me how many points (and what semester) they think they had on system at Aiken Tech. Please give me some sort of idea where i stand! If I doubt ill get in, I might just try to do my lpn first at Augusta Tech or something.

There used to be a reciprocity between Richmond County and Aiken County. I do not know if this even exists now. Call Monday and ask.

I'm just finished with my first semester at ATC's ADN program...honestly...I only had 14 points I think...however you MUST have a 3.0 between A&P 1, English 101, Psych201 and Collge Algebra...the higher your GPA the better your chances are of getting in. Work really hard and you'll get there!! GOOD LUCK!!

I have one more prereq to take, and if I make at least a B, I'll have the 3.0 for those classes. I wasn't as much worried about requirements as I was the competitive part. Thanks so much for letting me know you had 14. I think I'll have around that number. And the NET, is that taken at ATC or somewhere else?

The NET is taken at ATC in the Testing Center (700 building)...HOWEVER...we are switching from ERI (the company that provides all of our testing..including the tests you'll take IN the nursing program) to ATI this semester so you may want to ask your advisor if you'll still be taking ERI or if it's a different test. I'm pretty sure it'll be the equivilent test to the NET but check on that so you can study. It's not THAT hard but I would advise taking several practices tests that can be found online and in the testing center. If you've got a 3.0 you should be fine. :typing
