If you could go back to school for any degree (i am wondering about masters) what would it be?

Or, what degree are you studying for now or have studied? T.

Specializes in Surgical.

Archeology!! And as long as I'm dreaming... .unlimited funds to do digs and research.

Specializes in Emergency Room.

i plan to work on a MS in public health in maybe 3-5 years. but i have always wanted a degree in journalism.....maybe one day, when i can leisurely go to school without worrying about bills (sigh).

Maybe finance..............................I wish I knew more about investments, savings, stocks, etc........ I at least would have like to have had a good class on it

When I go back for my masters...I'd like to either get my masters in nursing or in business. :p

Specializes in Geriatrics/Alzheimer's.

My first choice has always been teaching. In 1970, I was attending college to become an Art Teacher, but never finished.

I have worked as an Educational Assistant in Special Ed since 1990 then I returned to school to become an LPN, (not my choice), after I finished my PN program, I worked for awhile as a Charge nurse in a LTC,

I wanted to go to school to become a Special Ed teacher, but my SO, told me I'd do better financially as a nurse, we argued aout this for sometime, before he won the argument. I love working in a school environment

After my SO passed away, I went to work for another school as an LPN/Education Assistant at a middle school. Loved it! Right now, I'm working at a LTC as a charge nurse here in Portland, OR.

Specializes in Nursing Professional Development.

Philosophy -- a PhD in philosophy.

... or maybe astrophysics

... or maybe mathematics.

llg

I'd keep the BA in psych and the ASN, but I'd trade my masters for a masters of social work.

And I'd like to have minored in physics somewhere along the line.

Specializes in Pediatrics, Metabolic genetics, Neuro.

You know...I would chooose nursing...I have a master's and would like to get a PhD...

Although I have to admit, a PhD in Neuropsychology appeals to me greatly as well...

As does a PhD in Health Policy....

decisions, decisions, decisions.... :)
