Which kind of nurse has a higher paying salary?

I am currently a nursing student and I will be starting my ADN program in a year. I was curious as to the difference in salaries between an RN, ADN, and BSn.

If anyone can list the, i'd appreciate it.

Same here. I tried doing a research on this and had a hard time.

Well, first of all both ADN and BSN prepared nurses are RNs. ADN and BSN simply delineate which degree the nurse has. The pay difference- if any- depends on the area and the facility. In my current job, there is no difference in salary. In my previous (hospital) job there was also no difference in salary between an ADN, BSN or diploma nurses but the hospital didn't hire anyone other than BSN prepared nurses. (Those who already worked there who had an ADN or a diploma were grandfathered in.) Experience was the only thing that made a difference as far as salary went. In places where there is a difference in pay for degree, the BSN nurse is paid more.

Far too many variables to give more than a general answer, and even then much will depend upon location, policy, etc....

Better to narrow your query down to something like "experienced nurses with "x" amount of years" or new graduate/licensed nurses.
