    Hello,
    I am a Paramedic & RN..I am looking for the shortest online BSN...I cant stand another chair in a classroom or time intensive program....

    I am open to all programs

    Have you looked at Western Governor's University (WGU)? I was REALLY looking into their program - it seems like the shortest, most straight-forward. The reason I chose Grand Canyon University (GCU) over WGU is because WGU is competency-based (as opposed to seat-time) and your grade point average ends up being 3.0.

    I am not 100% sure that I want to be a Nurse Practitioner, but I want to leave that option open for now. A 3.0 grade point average would close that door for me. Look at WGU or GCU. They are both 100% online. I think WGU would be perfect for someone who was interested in going for nursing educator, but not as perfect as someone going for FNP.

    Went to WGU and loved it! Read up on them here you will find many happy graduates.
