If you knew -- for certain-- that someone on this BB was "losing it", would you tell them?
Just curious....if you would advise them to see their doc ASAP

It's been done before. I would suggest however, that rather than make public observations you P.M. the person.
Thanks for your reply. I would definitely PM. I probably won't do it...but I will think on it.
So what are you doing up at 3 a.m.?
I was asleep. I left the patio door open for the chilly night fresh air breeze, and......
a damned bird flew in !! Scared the living daylights out of me....here by myself...everyone off hunting...
Danged bird hitting the walls , cabinets, ceiling fan, windows...feathers everywhere...
Place totally dark, me naked....trying to see what the hades it is...turn on lights...open patio door even wider...open front door....
would the danged bird fly out ???
No !!!
It is finally out....I'm wide awake !! As are probably a few other folks who probably got an eye-full !!
Well, maybe this BB contributes to some flippin' out!
Do you think?? LOL
Thanks again.
Shhhhh......................I'm working.

prn, I find it very hard to believe that you could know "for certain" that someone here was "losing it", unless of course you have grandiose diagnosing powers yourself.
debbyed answered you well. I think a pm to the moderators would be much more appropriate than posting a public message that will of course leave us all wondering who you are talking about
Actually I meant to P.M. the person who you are concerned about
Oh of course..sorry debbyed, I meant to the person too. Sleep deprived lol:)

I suppose it would be poor form for us to start giving our best guesses?
(Ohhhh-I think I know, I think I know...!)

I think it would take more then the "ventings" of the bb subscribers to dx a mental health problem! I've noted many unhappy posters.......concerned posters related to the nursing professions' woes but diagnosing someone related to the postings? Nah.....I would never credit myself with the ability to dx. a psych problem. Even the psych docs do an intense verbal exam before reaching a diagnosis on their patients!

(Gosh, I hope its not me.)
I think a PM to the person is the best idea too.
