I can hear my patient's mother having sex with her boyfriend in the next room. Beyond grossed out.

Sex was one of the most awkward things for my husband and me. I know you wouldn't be able to hear us because of the layout of our house but you could if you needed to come down our hall to the linen closet. I was always so paranoid. We got good at having silent sex because we didn't want to weird out our nurses; we wanted nurses to be happy here. Twice our nurses needed us while we were busy and they were very, very professional when I came running down the hall wrapped in sheet.

Do the same thing I used to do when my flatmate would do this...when they're done, clap and cheer loudly.
