Yes, another post about waiting on that special letter!!!

HI!! This is my first post ever on any site other than facebook or school discussion broads so let me know if I break any rules, hehe. I know there are plenty of topics on waiting for the letter but this is all I can think about. I turned in my app to Mott Community College in January for the Fall 2014 semester. MCC no longer does the wait list so I had to applied through the competitive program. Its May and I'm still waiting on that letter!!!!!!!:nailbiting: To make it worse, I've gotten three different letters from them while waiting. Today they sent a letter congratulating me on being 12 credits from a general degree. I wanted to rip that paper to shreds lol! I'm losing my mind! Anyone else ever waited this long for the letter? What helped you take your mind off of it?

I have 2 and 1/2 more weeks to wait on my letter. It's killing me. I wake up everyday hoping that it will arrive sooner. Do you know when you'll get your letter?

I do the same! I even text my family asking about the mail, if they get home before me. It should be here within the next week! When did you turn in your app?

I turned my app in at the end of March. We'll know something by the first week of June. I'll admit that your wait is pretty extensive. I wish you the best!

Our deadline was Feb 28th and mine should be here tomorrow! It is killing me! I would go crazy if I had gotten several things from them! Did they give you a timeline of when to expect to hear?

Soooo, I didn't get excepted! But I'm still excited b/c I could excepted somewhere bigger and better, maybe! Have to fill out more apps. Let me knw how it goes for you!

I called them today and they told me over the phone I didn't get excepted :(...apparently there are 400 people on the waitlist alone so the competitive applicants (like me) had no chance getting in. But I have more apps to fill out. I'm wishing you all the best!

I got my letter last week and I got in!!! My school told me I would find out in April, and they kept pushing the time back and telling me I was "so close!" to getting in. I ended up getting too impatient and I called and asked, and got my letter the day after. :D

I got my acceptance letter early (today)!
