Working overseas as a new nurse

Hello. I have been slowly chipping away at prerequisites for my application to a BSN program for the past two years. This is a second career for me and I was waiting to start a program until after all my kiddos were school age. Recently my husband informed me that his job will require us to move to Northern Virginia this December for three years followed by a two year assignment overseas. Assuming I start a nursing program shortly after getting to Virginia, I will only have one year of full time work experience before moving abroad to a unknown Embassy destination. I am excited about the idea of working as a nurse but I am concerned about my work opportunities abroad. Even if I find employment as a nurse, should I be concerned about the quality of mentorship since I will still be getting my feet wet? Any suggestions of schools and Northern Virginia would also be greatly appreciated.
