What was your experience in the Broward College nursing program?

Hello Everyone,

I am applying to Broward College's Nursing program and to be honest I am terrified! I have heard that Broward's nursing program is "very tough". I know that nursing school will be a challenge, however, I also want professors that enjoy teaching students and helping students learn rather than professors that "like to fail students". I know that I should not listen or feed into the negative comments / postings of others however, I realllllyy want to succed and I can't stop worrying if I am making the right desicion by going to Broward.

Also, I heard that professors tell students: "C's are the new A's in nursing school"... Call me crazy but I do not want to get c's!!! I want A's!!!

My friend is in process 2...shes says the program is fair and strict for a good reason...we will be dealing with peoples lives..wouldnt you want your loved one cared for a highly trained nurse? Of course you would!:yes:

She studys many hours a day. She was an A student now a B/C student.

However, when you are attending a patient as a skilled nurse the last thing you will remember is the C that you got!! Lol
