What is the difference between teas test version 3 and version 5?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Hello Everyone!! :loveya:

Right now, I am pursuing the LPN course at Eastwick in Hackensack, NJ. If anyone has any feedback about this school, feel free to post. I think this is the best school for me, being that I only was a Medical Assistant and only did my training for 13 weeks. I really like that there is a bridge program MA to LPN to RN. That works really well for me too. I am looking forward to continuing my education, whether it be as an MA or as an LPN. But I am pullin to pass this TEAS test!!!

I took the placement test and was so worried I would not do well enough to get invited to take the TEAS. Fortunately, I studied hard enough to pass!!! Now I am onto the next step and very excited to do so!! The weakest area for me is math and when I say weak, im WEAK!! Basic arithmetic weak LOL!! **ADVICE FOR ANYONE WANTING TO GO TO EASTWICK & TAKING THE TEAS TEST--TEST IS ONLY ON READING, ENGLISH & MATH!! NO SCIENCE!!! **

The version of the TEAS that Eastwick is using is Version 3. Is there any difference between 3 & 5 on the above sections?? I bought the Version 5 book before applying anywhere really because I was unsure where I wanted to go and thought that it was the best bet because it was the latest version. I really don't want to have to go and buy another book if I can save the 50 bucks! If anyone knows the difference, please let me know!! Thanks!!

I would like to thank everyone who is helpful on this great site!! I have found out so much information regarding this career, schools, ect... I am so excited to become a nurse and I am really interested in pediatrics and I know that is where I really belong and where my heart is. I have worked in pediatrics for about 2 years and worked with children in other areas of my life before this. A lot of nurses I have spoke with always ask WHY PEDS??? To me, it is the other way around..WHY NOT PEDS??? I know there is a lot of hard work going into this career but I am so ready for it!!! I have wanted this for so many years and would give up so easily. Having severe ADHD and not taking care of it has been a struggle, but now that I am learning to deal with this as an adult and taking my meds, I come closer to getting what I want. I am only 29 years old and I am still young and can do this. Having a positive attitude and believing that I can do this really helps!!
