Wake me up when March ends!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

March is an incredibly stressful month. It's the month where you've pretty much done everything you can possibly do in applying for nursing school (or any school for that matter) and all you can do is sit on your hands and wait for that acceptance or rejection letter. I am excited to see so many other forum members already receiving word from their perspective schools, but the two schools I've applied to will not respond until next month. In fact, one of the two schools I've applied for hasn't even reached it's application deadline yet!

So what do we do now? I have worked myself up so much that I am having increasingly frequent anxiety attacks. I want to hear what everyone else is doing to get their minds off of the waiting (and the possibility of a no :nailbiting:). What do you do to reduce your anxiety? I need advice!

No worries, hand soap worked better than sanitizer. Surprisingly, Lysol & hydrogen peroxide were more effective than bleach on the majority of the bacteria. I was highly surprised!

Even though Micro makes you a germophobe, it sure is a fun class. Loved every minute of it :D

I love Micro as well. Whenever someone asks what I'm taking this semester, there are groans all around at my reply. I don't get it. In lab last week, I mentioned that I loved the class and everyone just stared. I'm glad I'm not alone.:cat:

I am taking Micro this summer, I'm glad to see that people actually enjoy the class. It's my last class until the nursing program and I too am waiting until the end of may to get a letter I have been focusing on my classes I am taking right now and working part time to keep me from worrying so much about the nursing program. And to save money for when i am in the program. It gets pretty tough to top thinking about it at times. The more I talk about it the more nervous I get.

Nurse2b7337, I highly recommend Dr. Leslie Samuel's videos. You can find him on YouTube under Interactive Biology or just search his name. His videos have a way of making the concepts stick. There's also Khan Academy's videos. Both are excellent!

Leslie Samuels!!!! How could I forget this guy helped me thru A and P!!! I totally forgot about him. Thanks SopranoKris for the reminder!!!
