Waiting for fall 2014 acceptance.. anyone else

Im waiting for my decision letter. I applied two university (GCU & Pace) for their transitional program. Pace required take the HESI entrance exam that I just took today. I got 76% but they need 80%. I have 3.88 gpa. Do u think it can help? ? Also the other school I just applied last Monday but the program will start on july 7. Should I call the nursing department to find out since I need some time to prepare?

Yay congratulations! I haven't heard anything yet. I applied on June 27, but didn't send my $50 payment until July 6. When did you apply? What was on the HESI exam?

Thanks. I applied on the beginning of May and took the HESI entrance exam on June. I have GPA 3.9 and I took all the science and general classes. How about u? Did u take HESI entrance exam yet? what yr GPA?

I haven't taken the HESI yet. Did you take the HESI exam with Pace? I actually don't have any prereqs done except English comp and other non science courses. I will be taking my first prereq courses this September. My Gpa right now is 4.0. I hope I could keep it like that.

I took the HESI exam in Promatric centre. Pace didnt provide exam centre. U need to register the exam by yourself. So, u r applying spring semester, right? For what I know, they dont accept nursing student on spring, Fall only. Did u talk with advisor? U have good GPA, try to maintain it. It is really important for u to apply the nursing school.

Thanks. I have spoken to anyone from Pace yet. I would have to defer my enrollment for next year September. By then, I should be done with all of my prereqs. As for the HESI, where exactly do you schedule to take the exam? Also do you think I could get in without any prereqs done? Does Pace have an entrance exam? Sorry for asking so many questions.

Pace university required HESI exam but u need to take in Promatric HESI exam centre, they have different locations. After you finish the exam, they will automatically send yr score result to Pace university. You can look up this website
