University of Rochester ABSN

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi,

I am currently a student at UC Davis and wanted to ask people if I have a chance of getting into University of Rochester's ABSN program, or even some other programs at other places.

My main concern is my GPA. At my school my GPA is considered really good, however, it is nowhere near a 4.0. 3.7 and above GPAs are very difficult for science majors at my school, and I am worried that schools would not even consider me because my GPA is not on par with the 4.0s students' have when applying to an ABSN program. It is making me regret attending such a school and wished I just went to state school.

(NOT BASHING OTHER SCHOOLS, just hate the fact that, for example, chemistry classes at one school might be easier than at another school. Heck, even among professors at the same school the level of difficulty is different, and thus GPAs are different depending on the level of difficulty of the classes taken).

Thanks
