Just wondering if anyone else has applied to UCA for spring of 2015? Have you heard from them yet?

GO BEARS!! 2010 BSN graduate and will graduate Fall 2014 with MSN.

GOOD LUCK! It'll be worth it in the end

Sorry I didn't answer your question. Just excited to see UCA pop up here.

Great! Any advice on the FNP program?

I have enjoyed it. Already knew the staff so knew what to expect from each one. And class is small enough they can still remember you and help you if need be.

The nursing department is great and want the best for their graduates. Don't hesitate to ask for help or advice from them!

And when you get to patho with Dr. Martin ask around for old tests of his! It's no secret that he uses same types of questions but not close enough to cheat. His tests can be brutal if you don't know your stuff but are an easy A if you study your CLASS NOTES. Had one test of his that was entirely true/false. All but 2 questions were true. Now THAT'S a way to get someone to second guess their answers.

Are you waiting for a reply from BSN or MSN?

Waiting to hear about MSN. I already have my BSN and know 2 people that have went there so I have heard good things. I am just so anxious to find out if I am accepted!! Worried that I won't be able to do the schoolwork with work too..just ready to get in there.

I only took 1 or 2 classes each semester and managed it fine. The problem is when you get to clinicals cause you often have to go to clinic 2-3 days per week to get your hours in. Thankfully this past semester I got a weekend option position so my check is still good, keep my benefits, and have all week to do clinicals and homework.

Good luck! It'll be a long road but I'm pretty sure the light I see is the end of the tunnel (and not a train!)
