Uic 2015 bsn waitlisted

Hey, I was wait listed for the UIC BSN 2015 cycle too. I don't know much about the wait list system either, but hopefully we get an offer sometime in the summer. I've heard about people getting offers even when they were on the wait list!

Hahaha, np. I've got a 3.5 overall and 3.6 science gpa. I'm also doing research and volunteered. How about you? Do you know anyone else that was wait listed?

My overall GPA is 3.8 and science GPA is 4.0! I've done volunteering work as well and currently working as a CNA! Actually, No! I don't know anyone else who is waitlisted.. so that why I've been so curious about this process. I know that they start calling people after May 1st when seats are available. Then usually people get calls around July or mid June.. and as well like the last week before school starts! SO its really scary. You never know what could happen. I really hope we both get it! I'll keep you posted if anything happens.

Those are some great credentials!!! I do know a few people that were wait listed last year and ended up getting a call during the summer. I'm still hopeful we'll get a call in the summer, too! Did you apply to both campuses? Are you applying to other schools? I just hope it's not a complete lottery. And yes, I will! You do the same.

Thankssss! And oh really?! Do you know how many got called last year? That at least gives me some hope to get in! And I only applied to the Chicago campus, what about you?

If I don't get a spot into UIC nursing school, then i'll be committed to Aurora University school of nursing! What about you?

I did ask Michael if it is complete lottery, I'm waiting on his email. I did ask him before if we are ranked and what would be my rank number. He said he is not allowed to tell us any of that information. So I guess it is best to be hopeful!

And yesss! Of course! I'll keep you posted. Don't worry. It feels good to talk to someone in the same situation.

I'm not sure on the exact number, but I know it was more than one. I applied to both, but prefer Chicago.

Please let me know what he says! I want to email him too, but I feel like they've been bombarded with questions since the day decisions went out. I wonder if there are a lot of people put on the waitlist. I guess it really just depends if the invited students accept their offers to UIC :/ but yeah, you're right, we just have to stay hopeful!

I've a applied to other schools around the Chicago area, but I'm still waiting on their decisions. I'll be committing to one of the other schools during the summer as a back up.

I agree with you, 100%. I don't know other people that were waitlisted so it's nice to know someone on the same boat. Wish us the best of luck, and hope to hear sooner than later

I will let you know what he says! Don't worry! He will most likely respond to me like tomorrow morning. As far as I know, I believe about 40 students are put on the waitlist.. from there.. I don't know how many will accept the offer or rejects the offer! So it is all unknown for us.

I hope you get into all of the other schools you have applied girl!

I'm sure we will get in if we really deserve it :) I can't wait till the day we get our phone calls! I'm staying hopeful haha but yesss! It is pretty great to talk to you. I feel so much better!

Hey! Yes he emailed me back! He told me that we are ranked! So i believe that would be fair enough.

Hey! I was also waitlisted! What does ranked mean? By who responded to the waitlist offer first or do they know who they want and rank it by that?
