I've heard that it is crazy! You'll be taking very hard classes including clinicals. You literally won't have a social life. You may work but thats upto the person. It depends if the person can handle a job while being in nursing school.

I believe it could be one! since it gave us the option to either accept a spot at UIC, uofi or both!

Ranked means students have been put on a number scale by how good they were through essays, interview, gpa and etc. So they rank them in that order. We just don't know what number we are on! So they know who they want first and rank it by that. Goodluck! What is your background, if you dont mind me asking

Hey! Yes he emailed me back! He told me that we are ranked! So i believe that would be fair enough.

I will let you know what he says! Don't worry! He will most likely respond to me like tomorrow morning. As far as I know, I believe about 40 students are put on the waitlist.. from there.. I don't know how many will accept the offer or rejects the offer! So it is all unknown for us. I hope you get into all of the other schools you have applied girl! I'm sure we will get in if we really deserve it :) I can't wait till the day we get our phone calls! I'm staying hopeful haha but yesss! It is pretty great to talk to you. I feel so much better!

Thankssss! And oh really?! Do you know how many got called last year? That at least gives me some hope to get in! And I only applied to the Chicago campus, what about you? If I don't get a spot into UIC nursing school, then i'll be committed to Aurora University school of nursing! What about you? I did ask Michael if it is complete lottery, I'm waiting on his email. I did ask him before if we are ranked and what would be my rank number. He said he is not allowed to tell us any of that information. So I guess it is best to be hopeful! And yesss! Of course! My overall GPA is 3.8 and science GPA is 4.0! I've done volunteering work as well and currently working as a CNA! Actually, No! I don't know anyone else who is waitlisted.. so that why I've been so curious about this process. I know that they start calling people after May 1st when seats are available. Then usually people get calls around July or mid June.. and as well like the last week before school starts! SO its really scary. You never know what could happen. I really hope we both get it! I'll keep you posted if anything happens.
