TEAS without prerequisites

I'm an LVN getting ready to go back to school to get my ADN. I don't have any prerequisites completed, but I am studying the Mometrix ATI TEAS prep study guide along with khan academy videos and other online sources. The school I am applying to contains all of the prerequisites in their curriculum. Although I graduated from my LVN program at the top of my class (95% overall GPA) and I am usually very good at taking tests, I am a little worried about the TEAS. Just wondering if anyone out there has passed the TEAS without taking their prerequisites first? Does anyone think it's doable? Thanks!!

Hi! I graduated high school in 2016 and am (hopefully) going to school for my ADN as well. I had one semester of college right after my graduation but haven't been back since. I took the TEAS and got an 80% actually! I was in the same boat as you with really no prerequisites, so I'm sure you'll do just fine!

Reading, math, and grammar is pretty standardized, all could be taught by studying the practice books. I took AP1, AP2, CHEM, and Microbiology and I still found the science portion to be tricky only because its very broad. I focused more on topics I had control over: math, grammar, and reading. There are plenty of free questions online that mimic a teas exam and ati has an option where you pay 46 for a practice exam, you can take the exam twice.
