I am taking A&P I now and I plan on taking A&P 2 & Microbiology next semester. I plan to take the Teas V in December when I am about done with A&P I and Chemistry. Do you think that is a good idea or it's best if I take A&P 2 and Micro first?

There was a decent amount of A&P 2 on my test. I hadn't taken Micro yet and I did very well on the science section, so I don't think it's necessary. You could always study the A&P 2 stuff without taking the class. The questions were not super detailed aside from some of the digestive and respiratory questions.

I took the TEAS V before A&P 2 and did just fine. I remember seeing quite a lot of questions in regards to blood flow and vessels on the exam, though. I suggest buying the TEAS V study manual from ATI's website. It will include explanations for nearly every potential topic on the exam, including practice tests. I don't recall seeing any microbiology on it at all.

I took it towards the end of ant. 2 but there was a lot of ant 2 material. I think more then ant. 1 It was more about function instead of positional. Like what do lymphocytes belong to or which type of wbc is most common...which chamber gets deoxygenated blood first...what does a nephron belong to...those types...not exact but very similar.

I didnt worry about micro because not all colleges require it and I figured that wouldnt be on the test due to that...There was nothing from micro.

I took the Teas when I was only partway through A&P1 and I did well in the sciences. I just spent the weekend studying the Teas book. However, my school only requires an overall score above 70. You don't get any additional advantage for scoring higher. So I wasn't trying to get a really high score. I did get an 85.4% on the science portion with only a few months of A&P1.
