Struggling to get an A in A and P ?

Well I am taking Anatomy and Physiology for the second time this quarter, not because I failed it the first time though. Actually, the first time I took it I went between an A and a B the whole semester but ended up with a B. What I struggled with the first time I took it was taking the class with other courses and still managing to get an A. Fast track a few years later and this is the only class I am taking this semester. I must say it is much easier and less stressful studying for this class when its the only class you have to study for. My question though is there anyone who took A and P and got an A while taking a full load of courses (12+ credits)? How did you find balance between all your classes and still manage to understand the important concepts of A and P well enough to get an A? I have known many people who got an A, but it was the only class they were taking.

When i was still in pre-nursing all my pre-reqs were done with a full course load. Personally i studied A and P little by little every day. Studied half my notes on one day and half on the other. Review all my notes on both saturday and sunday, and whabam A in A & P. Being able to talk about the subject really ensures that you know the material too.

I've finished all my pre-reqs (applied this year). I got all As and I have taken a full load every term. I only work part-time as a CNA which helps, and my partner helps immensely with my daughter. So I get enough time to study but really I think what helps is PLANNING. I have a planner and a white board and I plan out how much work for each class I need to do each day for about 2 weeks at a time. And I try to keep it realistic and just say a few hours each day total. But I would study and do homework everyday. I made a lot of lists and drew things out (pictures and diagrams) and watched videos to really get important concepts down. It was hard but I think just dedicating certain chunks of time is what really helped me.
