Nursing School Plans

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I will be taking the TEAS exam on the 24th for the LPN class. I hope to go on to further my nursing career by doing the LPN-BSN thru excelsior. Then what I really want to do is become a Forensic Nurse Investigator/Nurse Legal Consultant.

I love watching medical detectives and forensic files.

How long do you think it would take me to do this ? I want to work as an LPN while I am doing the LPN to BSN transition on-line. I figure that alone would take me roughly 18 months plus forensic part would probably take another 12 months. I'm thinking at least 3 to 4 yrs at the most. Does this sound about right ?

Right now I am primarily concentrating on passing the TEAS Exam and getting in to nursing school.

Small goals first ! :)
