NCC nursing program

Has anyone been accepted to Ncc's nursing program. If so, how hard is it, and are you able to work while in the program?

I was looking at a post from last year and people were getting their letters around April 21st, so I'm sure we'll get something by the end of next week. Doesn't stop me from checking email and mailbox every hour though lol

Night or daytime ?

The people that got their letters last year were mostly day. Do they send letters out for the evening on a different day? Or are you asking me which one I chose? If you are asking me, I chose evenings. I understand is much harder to get into that one. Still hopeful though, I feel like I'm on a roller coaster of emotions waiting for this letter to arrive. I'm really trying to be positive

Lol sorry, I was asking you which you applied for. How were your scores (if you don't mind me asking) I applied for the evenin too, I understand what your feeling!! I just keep telling myself I've done everything I could thus far and all I can do now is wait.

I have a 3.85 GPA for the four pre-reqs.

All I have left are the nursing classes, I have about 32 other credits besides the ones needed for Nursing. I wanted to go for an Accounting degree but I completely changed my mind, Accounting is so not for me.

I scored 70 on the TEAS, not very happy about that but there's nothing I can do about it now.

Oh yeah that's great stuff! I have a four year degree from John jay and Im taking AP132 now, and AP202 and Psy216 in the summer. So ill just need the four nursing classes as well

I honestly think you have nothing to worry about, because from what I've been reading people that already have another degree and do well go right in, you have it all.

Ok so the 3 of us are applying for evenings!!! i hope we all get in together! :) we all have similar stats as well, they only took i believe 20 credits from me because everything else was upper level courses from my undergrad. @taliamb were you able to get into med micro for the summer? I'm waiting until i found out if i got in or not to register for the summer/fall.

I did get in, I figure I'll be applying for the spring if I dot get in to the fall program anyway. I heard that all the fall classes are full except the Friday Sunday class!!!i wonder how many people applied to nth day and night. It would be great if we all get in! I'm sending all my positive vibes out there for us!

i guess I'm going to be waiting for ppl to drop because I'm NOT taking the friday class(530-1145 YIKES!) and i can't take the sunday class because of my job. unfortunately, banner is down right now so i can't even check. Thanks girl! I'm sure we will have a fighting chance! I'm curious about the stats as well! but we did all we need to and now all we can do is wait. maybe next tuesday!! lol

I don't blame you, that's a long day. I'm taking It summer session one from 630-1030 Monday thru Thursday. But I just want to get it done. If I get into the program I'll take summer and winter classes that would go toward a B.S. Waiting..... It's been the worst part of this whole process. The classes, the science, nothing beats how crappy this wait feels.

GIRL SERIOUSLY!!! i was totally fine, but then the time to apply came lightening fast! now this waiting game is just...ugh gut wrenching. i just want to know! even if i don't get in i just want to know so i can move on with my life! lol i sound like a wreck haha

Lol I'm taking the Friday class and it is soooo not a big deal. Our Prof lets us go home at 10:30 every Friday. The only thing I will tell you though is that this Prof doesn't mess around, his tests are not the easiest I've taken. The class is hard as it is and he words his tests different than his notes just to make sure you understand what he taught. So if you just memorize your notes you're not going to pass.
