I got in!

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

So I did it. I got into the number one nursing program in California for Fall 17'. After being rejected by 4 other schools I couldn't be more excited. I graduated in 2014 with AS degree and have been out of school since spring 15'. Now with that being said I am terrified now! We had orientation and I was just shook. And reading online everyone is just saying how difficult it is and I'm scared I will be a failure. How the answers are all right but pick the best one..how you want to die after an exam..how u pray just for a 75%! I'm so nervous I'm making myself sick and now doubting if i will be good enough..anyone else this stressed?

The number 1 piece of advice I can give you, is to STOP listening to what other people say. Your post is just filled with what OTHER people are saying. Focus on yourself. Yes, nursing school is HARD but just stop listening to others because that is going to make the situation 10 times worse. You're psyching yourself out a lot already and school hasn't even started yet!!!

I know I am just listening to others and I'm trying hard to remain positive. Just going through a lot and have no one who understands what I'm going through. Thank you for your input

Congratulations! Getting in to nursing school is an amazing accomplishment! I just finished my first semester of nursing school. Again, congrats!!! Don't worry about all the negative things others say. Nursing school can be hard, but it is so rewarding!!

Congratulations! Getting into any nursing school is my number one goal right now. If you don't mind me asking, which school did you get into?

All your peers probably feel the same way- but hooray, you guys all got in, and will have each other's backs through that process. Because you got into a program, it shows that you're capable to handle the material! Believe in yourself some more, you got this :)

Thank you very much and I got into Merritt College
