Human bio? Or Anatomy & Physiology?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Is Human Biology 1 and 2 the same as Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2? I'm afraid if I take Human Biology it wont count as a Transfer credit towards Anatomy and Physiology.

Thanks for the info.

I would suggest calling the admissions/transcript office of the school you're planning to transfer to, and asking how that class transfers.

I've never heard of Human Bio 1&2, but I'll take a guess and say it's not the same.

I am taking pre reqs at a community college now to then transfer into a 4 year schools nursing program. At my school, they offer human bio 1 & 2 or ap 1 &2. It is highly recommended at my school that you take a & p 1 and 2 just because that will be able to transfer it anywhere. Even if you don't plan to transfer, you just never know. So I would recommend that to you as well.

I'm doing the same! Thanks! Just wanted to make sure.

I suggest talking to an advisor at your school, they will know what you should take and which courses are transferable. My school offers human bio as well, though I have no idea what it's for, as far as which majors require it. My school and two other schools I am looking to apply to for nursing, all require the A&P 1 and 2, not the human bio classes.

I'm at a maryland community college right now and while human bio will be accepted for said colleges associates nursing program it will not transfer to the 4 year school I am attending. For the sake of keeping your options open I'd take A&P and discuss with your advisor.
