HESI Study Guides

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am planning on taking the HESI A2 with Critical Thinking in the Fall so I can apply for admission to TAMU-CC's eLine nursing program (to start in the summer of 2012.) I was wondering which study guides people used that helped them the most. I am nervous about taking the test, and would like to be as prepared as possible for it.

Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing! I take the Hesi on Oct. 15 and I am pretty nervous.. I am also applying for the Summer but I'm doing the generic plan.. Have you already taken the Hesi?? Anyhoo.. Good Luck!

I just took the HESI A2 this morning. We were only required to do the math, reading, and vocabulary. I used the Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Exam Review. Studying the guide made the test very easy. Lots of ratios and fractions in the math section. I highly recommend getting the guide and spending a night or two reviewing.

Good luck taking the HESI. I took it last month. I think the Evolve study guide only really helps with the math, vocab, and reading. I didn't feel like it helped me much with chem, anatomy, or physiology.

@Angsturdy,

I'm nervous about the Chem and A&P sections. I take the Hesi A2 next Saturday.. Any advice?
