Okay, so back when I was young(er) and reckless, I always knew in my heart I wanted to be a nurse, but a lot of family said I didn't have it in me. I ended up giving up on a couple of programs I hated and having family problems that dropped me to a 2.0. Now that I am older and wiser I know that I DO have it in me, and have already been accepted to an ADN program. As some of you may know, this particular ADN program first year is all pre-requisites: Dev Psych, Eng Comp 1, AP1, AP2, Math 1, Math 2, Eng Lit, and Micro.

From *what I understand*, they base your finalization of admission on your prerequisite GPA only. However, should they choose cumulative and I manage to scrape an A in every class (a goal I ALWAYS seek), what are my chances of getting my GPA over 3.0?

P.S. The reason why it is so low is because I had a family emergency that caused me to Withdraw and Fail a couple of courses.

Any help?

We can't calculate it because we don't know how many credits are in your current gpa.

You can calculate it: multiply the points earned in each class by the number of credits in that class - for each class. Add all those answers together and divide by the total of the number of credits attempted.

There are GPA calculators on line you can google them. They make for fast and easy calculating ;)!
