Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello my name is Stephanie I've been in school for a long time and I just finished my last prereq for the nursing program in my area which is located at ccbc Essex MD.

I will be taking the TEAS before March and am applying for the program in March.

I am doing as much research as I can to get information/advice/tips/experiences from others (New RNs, Student RNs, and pre student RNs).

This is my pursuit to can my nervousness a little in preparation.

I've been a CNA for 5 years with basically experiences in all levels of care except peds, mother/baby(OB), and OR. I love writing in the ICU.

I'm currently trying to get my sticks for blood draws and IV insertions to tx to MFT.

I'm starting to get scared that is starting to get real.....like this is what I've been waiting for since forever well since I graduated H.S in 08.

I Have questions like past students/ current students what does your schedule look like? Do you work? How do you juggle work, family, responsibilities (kids/pets). Any info is appreciated.
