Can a single mom that works full time successfully complete nursing school?

I am in need of advice. I am a single mom of 2 young boys and work Monday thru Friday 8:30a-5p at an insurance agency. Those hours are not very flexible. I don't have a lot of help. I really want to find a way to make nursing school happen. I'm looking at the program at CCAC. There are evening classes, but I'm not sure when clinicals would be or how much time is involved. I know there are single working moms who have successfully completed nursing school. I would love to hear how you did it! And if you went to CCAC, I'd love to hear about the program from someone who's been though it!

The nursing faculty prides itself on arranging schedules that allow most students to meet the demands of school in addition to demands of work and family. Nursing classes are offered both during the day and in the evening. Clinical practicum is offered both during the week and on Saturdays.

There's an "evening" LPN program up here. But they define "evening" as 3PM to 10PM or 11PM, analogous to the evening shift of shift work, I guess. I'd call the school and ask. But an evening program for nursing is an intriguing idea, though. Some people, like me, just run better during those hours. Doing clinicals at some time other than day shift on weekdays could be good, or bad. Some activities you might want to do or observe might only be done on weekdays, day shift.

eta: Pittsburgh traffic and geogprohy being what it is, http://www.ccac.edu/default.aspx?id=143292 lists clinical locations for the various campuses. You have to take location and travel time into consideration. Some hours of the day, you almost "can't get there from here," at least not on time because of the traffic.
